Elizabeth Bowen serves as Project Coordinator for Great Falls Community Heart & Soul.
Elizabeth moved from a small town in California to Great Falls in July 2024 to be closer to her eldest daughter. Elizabeth has had many different service-oriented jobs from working in the blood marrow transplant unit as an oncology massage therapist, to to working with CASA volunteers. As a certified life coach, Elizabeth enjoys listening to people's stories.
She believes Great Falls Community Heart & Soul is a wonderful opportunity for this town and is honored to be a part of this team.
Savannah Crosby is a life long resident of Great Falls and serves as a volunteer for the Great Falls Heart & Soul Team - primarily providing communications and social media support.
Savannah is the Program Director for the Furman College Advising Corps and the Community Project Assistant at the Arras Foundation. From taking dance classes downtown as a child to working closely with Great Falls High School as an adult, the community of Great Falls is a key player in Savannah's story.
Cynthia Curtis is a certified Community Heart & Soul and has served as the coach for Kershaw Heart & Soul (2018-2021) and has served as the coach for Great Falls Heart & Soul since 2021.
Cynthia is a Community Investment Officer for the Arras Foundation and works with nonprofit organizations, community partners, and local governments to enhance the health of communities in Lancaster County, Fort Lawn, and Great Falls. Her local-global development experience centers on building transformative partnerships, grant making & grant seeking, community economic development, intercultural cooperation, and capacity building.
Sloan Dixon is a realtor and active community member that holds board positions with Great Falls Community Hearts & Soul, Chester SC 250, and Great Falls Hometown Association.
She enjoys gardening, cooking, hiking kayaking and the great outdoors, animal rescue, volunteering with Chester food distribution, and most importantly, her family and friends and church(es) community.
Kesha Hayes Horton was active in forming the Great Falls Community Heart & Soul and continues to actively serve on the leadership team.
Kesha is an Administrative Assistance at The Clemson Cooperative Extension, where she's also served as a volunteer for 15 years with extensive experience as a 4-H leader helping the Great Falls Community.
Kesha is also the Secretary of the Great Falls Hometown Association and on the Great Falls Zoning Board of Appeals. Specializing in Administration and Computer Science, Kesha uses that experience to assist the Great Falls Heart & Soul team with data management, communication, events and tech support.
Alison Howe serves as a member of the Great Falls Heart & Soul leadership team and remains actively involved in the communication sub-committee. In the beginning, she was critical to the formation of Great Falls Heart and Soul.
She was an educator at Great Falls Elementary School for ten years and has been an active community members with local efforts including GRASP, the River Sweeps, and the Town of Great Falls Zoning Ordnance and Land Development. Alison and her family bring insightful views, talents, varied interest, experience, and love for the Great Falls Community.
Wytricia Mack is a Great Falls native with an expansive entrepreneurial
career. She is the founder and owner of The Promack Solution and Salt of the Earth Ministries and co-owner of Smack Trucking LLC. She is also an authorized notary and provides mobile services across South Carolina.
Wytricia's diverse background includes being an Ordained Minister, a Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS), and an Integrated Forensic Peer Recovery Specialist (I-FPRS). Wytricia also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Studies.
Kinsley Price was born and raised in Great Falls and is the oldest of five siblings. She is a Great Falls High School senior and enjoys volunteering with organizations like the Lord’s Lunchbox, GRASP, Hometown Association, and more. Kinsley is a member of the Mt. Zion Youth Group and loves spending time helping at her church.
In the fall, she plans to attend Anderson University with a major in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Theatre. Kinsely’s dream is to return to Great Falls and work as a kindergarten teacher while running after-school and theatre programs for all grade levels. She loves her community and is devoted to seeing it develop into the beautiful town it can be!
Shelley Price was born and raised in Great Falls where she and her husband are now raising their children. She is the current Executive Director of GRASP, a 501(c)3 nonprofit in Great Falls. She has been with GRASP since 2017 and works diligently to increase and diversify their revenue, build partnerships, and work closely with staff and volunteers to provide quality services to people in need.
She is a licensed master’s level social worker with 15 years’ experience working with individuals and families from all walks of life. She is always looking to expand her skill set and use her experience to improve her community.
Maxine Tate is a lifelong Great Falls resident and currently serves as a team lead and events subcommittee member for Great Falls Heart & Soul. Maxine has worked as an educator at Great Falls Elementary School for the past 34 years. She is also a member of the GRASP board, Hazel Pittman Board, and SIC/PTO at GFES. Maxine and her husband, Michael, have three children and seven grandchildren.
Mike Vaughn serves District 2 on Chester County Council. He is an active community organizer who began by organizing River sweeps and continues to work with the Great Falls Hometown Association and the Catawba Riverkeeper Foundation. He owns and operates Great Falls Adventures, a kayak rental and guide service.
He is a former Chairman of the Great Falls Hometown Association and is current President of the Great Falls Cemetery Association. Mike was instrumental in forming the Great Falls Community Heart & Soul and continues to work hard for the organization.
